Flowers, flowers, flowers...

To celebrate the upcoming release of Botanica I sifted through my iPhone flower photos – here are a few shots from around our yard this summer. As the Fall colors are beginning to show, I'm watching the last of my summer blooms fade. The passion flower vine made it all the way up the side of the house this year (does that mean something? :-). 

The straw flowers & zinnias were amazing – they lasted sooooo long and loved our unusually hot & dry summer. Thanks to my lovely neighbor for germinating those from seed very early in the year and putting them out at her Tiny Farm Stand, so that I could scoop them up on my way back from the park and do the easy part – plant & enjoy all summer long!
